Cost Projection: Once a site and floor plan is selected, we can estimate a completed project cost. Our process allows you the most control over the budget. First, we estimate the “sticks and bricks” or structure cost of the home, then add your custom features like counter tops, flooring, and light fixtures to project the final cost of your home.
Financing: With your site, floor plan, and projected cost settled, Harrington Custom Homes can help arrange the financing for your new home. While we do not finance projects personally, we work closely with a select group of highly respected area lenders.
Building Contract: Before construction begins, the homeowner and homebuilder must create an agreement, specifying the dimensions and features of your home, site plan, materials, draw schedule, and completion date. Our knowledgeable sales and construction professionals will work with you carefully throughout each step of this process.
Construction: Once construction begins, you are welcome to visit the site as much as you like to bring friends or relatives and take photos, but we do ask that questions, comments and change requests go through the office and not directly to site personnel. We are available at any time throughout the construction process via phone and email.
Warranty: Every Harrington Custom Home is guaranteed, door-to-door for a full year, and the home’s structure carries a warranty for a full ten years. In some cases additional warranties may also apply.
